Travel gear

Here are my favorite conscious travel gear brands! You can find anything here, from clothing, and backpacks to water filters and toiletries. These are the brands I’m currently using myself whenever I’m traveling!

Backpacks

Wayks is my go-to brand for all things bags! They offer various backpack combinations and I’m the proud owner of the Wayks Globetrotter Bundle. You can read my review of this sustainable and modular backpack on the blog.

If you’re not looking for a backpack but only a good day pack I can highly recommend the German brand Melawear. Their daypacks or lovely and they also offer a nice range of clothing!

Clothing

Organic basics is one of my favorite brands for underwear, bathing suits, and loungewear. They sell great bikinis, are sustainable and most f their items are PETA, approved.

I love Colorful Standard’s standards! A great brand for basic sweatpants, hoodies, and T-shirts for relaxed traveling! You can get 10% off your order by using my code TRAVELERSANDDREAMERSCS10.

Mandala is my favorite top brand for yoga clothes. They are not only suitable for yoga but for traveling in general. I wear them all the time on the road, on the beach, on the bus, or while hiking!

Girlfriend is another great sustainable brand for comfortable long-term travel clothing items. I especially love their sports bras!

Armedangels is my favorite sustainable brand for everyday clothes and whenever I’m going on a city trip. Their jeans fit great!

My eyes are very sensitive to light so a good pair of sunglasses is a must when traveling. I like to wear Sunski, a sustainable brand with a bit of a retro vibe.

Footwear

Will’s vegan store is a large online shop with shoes that are 100% vegan. No matter what you’re looking for, whether it’s heels, sneakers, or even hiking boots, you will find it right here!

Veja is a French vegan sneaker brand that sells very comfortable vegan sneakers in a wide variety of colors. You can recognize them by the V on the side of the sneaker.

Komrads is a Belgian sustainable sneaker brand that I recently discovered. When my current sneakers are worn down I think I will buy their APLS Maça High sneakers!

Toiletries

Forget about regular toothbrushes and even bamboo ones which are, in my opinion, too soft. Enter the world of SURI, the first sustainable electric toothbrush brand. You can get 15% off your order with my link!

After visiting a natural beauty parlor a while ago I got to know Evolve natural skincare and I’ve been hooked ever since. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and have many sustainability accreditations!

Ecco Verde is my go-to site for things like makeup pads, sustainable earpicks, a safety razor,…It’s a large marketplace of sustainable beauty products and a lot of them are vegan!

One of the most important things while traveling is wearing decent sun protection. I love this vegan and reef-safe sun screen from Sun Bum. Psst, this link will work better if you’re a Belgian or Dutch reader!

Regarding hair care, I’ve been stuck on Noughty for years. They are vegan and cruelty-free and have received many awards. I use the To the Rescue range. Belgian and Dutch readers can check out this link!

I rarely wear make-up anymore, but when I do I stick to Ilia, a vegan and sustainable make-up brand that even recycles your empties when you have finished a product!

Other

Every traveler should buy a Life Straw not only for outdoor activities but wherever they travel in the world. With a life straw, you can purify tap water anywhere you go! No need to buy plastic bottles anymore.

Blogging guides are great to prepare for a trip but a good guidebook still comes in handy from time to time to get an overall view of a country! I prefer Lonely Planet and Rough Guide

Waka Waka is a sustainable brand offering solar-powered flashlights and power banks. It’s such an easy item to have with you whenever you’re traveling to a sunny country!
